Characteristics of organization NIPPON as it is at Tateyama Village; with the slogan of Just Come As You Are!: Higashitani Area in Tateyama-cho at the foot of one of Japan's best three mountains: it's an old Japan; insect observation, direct sales of farm products & local specialties; A base for urban-rural interaction; Toyama is well known for its rice production; traditional farmhouses are availavle for accomodation; foreign tourists also visit; reservation for all inns can be made.

The mountainous area is located in the eastern part of Tateyama-cho neighboring on Toyama City, prefectural capital of Toyama; good access from the center of Tateyama-cho (5-minute drive) and the Tateyama-Kurobe Alpine Route, international mountainous tourist site (35-minute drive).

Highlight of this model plan Traditional wealthy farmer's house is offered as farm-inn, since Toyama is well known for its rice production; One of the highlights of the Tateyama-Kurobe Alpine Route is "Great Valley in Snow" of 20m in height, where you can take a walk during a set period in a year.
Plan fees Two-day/one-night stay at a farm-inn (including project participation fees: 7,500 yen per adult & 6,500 yen per child); Round-trip fare between Tateyama Station and Murodo on the Tateyama-Kurobe Alpine Route is 4,190 yen (per adult); the fare depends on destination.

Morning Trekking at Taikanmine Nature Park Taikanmine Nature Park is within the Green Tourism Promotion Area and has a wonderful trekking course. Enjoy walking in the woods. There is an observation deck on the top at an altitude of 325m, which offers a great view of Sankyoson (village) on the Toyama Plain and the Sea of Japan as well.
Lunch Barbecue Enjoy having a barbecue viewing the panorama from Taikanmine Nature Park.
Afternoon Tateyama calabash' painting experience Traditionally, 'Tateyama calabash' is said to answer your prayer for family well-being and good health. Enjoy painting it and keep it as a good souvenir.
Notes
Highlight of this model plan Since the region has clear streams, you can see fireflies. Enjoy the fantastic light streams the river. Fireflies appear in some farmyards and produce a peaceful, rural atmosphere.
